WONDERFUL RAIN
Last weekend, a 7-foot wall of water rolled down Cypress Creek through Blue Hole Regional Park without significant damage to the park.
The newly planted grasses and trees benefitted from the soaking, although Friday’s rainfall at the park only measured one-tenth of an inch. The temporary watering lines are being removed along the stream bank, the tables and benches have been cleaned of silt, and fish returned to the creek!
The recent wet spells have brought back the wonderful sound of running water throughout the park.
