Friends of Blue Hole, a non-profit corporation, will promote, protect, preserve, and develop the Blue Hole park owned by the Village of Wimberley; will raise and administer funds for a master plan for the parkland, for the construction of park facilities, and for the maintenance and operation of the park.

Donations from individuals, families, businesses and foundations will be acknowledged on a centralized permanent donor wall in the Blue Hole Regional Park for the following giving levels:
- Towering Cypress $50,000
- Live Oak $25,000
- Limestone Bluff $20,000
- Texas Blue Oak $10,000
- Texas Cedar Elm $5,000
- Chatterbox Orchid $2,500
- Texas Barberry $1,000
